Absentee Voting
MAKE SURE YOUR VOICE IS HEARD AND YOU VOTE IN THE 2024 GENERAL ELECTION
Are you going to be out of town during EARLY
VOTING days (October 31st & November 1st & 2nd) as well as
ELECTION DAY on November 5th
Then you are eligible to vote by requesting an ABSENTEE BALLOT!
- Absentee Ballot Portal opens on 9/21 and closes 10/22.
- Visit Govote.ky.gov to fill out the absentee ballot request form OR call our office 502-875-8704 to request that one be mailed to you.
- Once you receive the ballot in the mail, fill out your ballot by marking the selected box completely and be sure to sign the inner and outer envelopes before returning the completed absentee ballot to our office.
- You can mail your ballot back to our office (must be postmarked on or before 11/5 and in our office before 6 p.m. on 11/5) or you can drop it in our DROP BOX located in the entrance lobby of the clerk’s office just outside of the elevator. Franklin County Clerk’s office is located at 315 W. Main Street.
